WA 1500 48 Shot Match

 

Pistol:- Any Centre-fire revolver or semi-automatic, calibre .354 to .455 in (International  Standard revolver 4")

Sights:- Any metal sights which may be adjustable, any colour. Orthoptics not allowed.

Trigger:- In the opinion of the range officer, the trigger must be safe.

Position:- Standing. One or Both hands may be used to hold or steady the pistol depending on practice.

Targets:- PS5. One per competitor.

Ammunition:- 30 rounds, to be supplied by the competitor.

Rules:- Club WA 1500 48 Shot Match Rules apply.

Course of Fire:-

Practice 1

3 yds : 6 shots in 8 seconds standing without support, one handed.

Practice 2

7 yds : 12 shots in 20 seconds standing without support.

Practice 3

15 yds : 12 shots in 20 seconds standing without support.

Practice 4

25 yds : 18 shots in 90 seconds.

6 shots kneeling (post must be used, line must be obeyed)

6 shots standing, left hand, left side post

6 shots standing, right hand, right side of post

  All practices begin from the holster.
