Pistol:- Any Centre-fire revolver or semi-automatic, calibre .354 to .455 in
Sights:- Any metal sights which may be adjustable, any colour. Orthoptics not allowed.
Trigger:- In the opinion of the range officer, the trigger must be safe.
Position:- Various. Both hands may be used to hold or steady the pistol.
Targets:- NRA 1500. One per competitor.
Ammunition:- 150 rounds, to be supplied by the competitor.

Course of Fire:-
Practice 1
10m : 12 shots to be fired in 25 seconds. Starting with a loaded gun in the holster.
15m : 12 shots to be fired in 25 seconds. Starting with a loaded gun in the holster.
Practice 2
25m : 18 shots to be fired in 90 seconds double action only starting with a loaded gun in the holster as follows:-
6 rounds kneeling position.
6 rounds from the left handside of the barricade with the gun in the left hand.
6 rounds from the right hand side of the barricade with the gun in the right hand.
Practice 3
50m : 24 shots to be fired in a time of 2 minute 45 seconds starting with a loaded gun in the holster as follows:-
6 rounds sitting position.
6 rounds prone.
6 rounds from the left handside of the barricade with the gun in the left hand.
6 rounds from the right hand side of the barricade with the gun in the right hand.
Practice 4
25m : 24 shots to be fired in two strings of 12 in 35 seconds each.:-
Free standing. Double action only. starting with a loaded gun in the holster.
Practice 5
10m : 12 shots to be fired in 25 seconds.
Free standing.
Double action only. starting with a loaded gun in the holster.
Practice 6
25m : 18 shots to be fired in 90 seconds as follows:-
6 rounds Kneeling.
6 rounds standing from the left handside of the barricade with the gun in the left hand.
6 rounds standing from the right hand side of the barricade with the gun in the right hand.
Double action only. starting with a loaded gun in the holster.
Practice 7
50m : 24 shots to be fired in 2 minutes 45 seconds.:-
6 rounds sitting.
6 rounds prone.

Practice 8
